Galtymoore Tom to sweep through the Dual Distance Christmas Cracker ? Heat 2

The second heat of the Grade OR Dual Distance Christmas Cracker has attracted Letmeseeya, Verdun Richie, Shimano Siren, Farloe Ashes, Other Buddy and Galtymoore Tom. Sittingbourne will host the 480 metres flat race and is scheduled for Sunday, 9th December. The contestants are trying to take their chances with the total prize money of ?150.

The most over whelming candidate in the line-up is the two-year-old black dog, Galtymoore Tom. The B. Connolly trained has groomed himself as a racer in this season only, but has been in the career since the previous year.

Ballymac Ruso?s son was successful in two out of the last three outings. The first success was in a Grade A1 level, while the very recent was a precious open score.

The two-year-old landed the winner?s prize money of the Grade A1 480 metres flat race on 18th November, 2012 at Sittingbourne.

He raced in the orange of the fifth trap and was entered as the favourite among the lot of six competing. Breaking into an early pace and then leading on from the second position had Galtymoore Tom on the other end of the wire in 29.25 seconds.

Missing the chance to return victorious to the kennel was, Musical Hijack.

The two-year-old out of, Knockura Way, then extended his winning form in the very next outing and struck a back-to-back.

Galtymoore Tom dominated the Grade OR Sittingbourne Super Standard ? Division I on 25th November, 2012 over 500 metres at Sittingbourne.

He broke from the sixth trap this time and was sent as he most popular candidate of the race. Despite getting bumped, no one in the lot could stop him from setting into the early lead. Racing on from the very first position had him nailing the winner?s prize money of the race in 30.43 seconds.

Losing the race by 2 ? lengths was the fourth trap, Durrow Lark and filling in the third slot was, Verdun Sunset.

The dark hound has raced and won while racing in the striped jacked of the sixth trap and is completely capable of achieving the same again tonight.
