Jon Huntsman Jr. wants politicians to do their jobs

SALT LAKE CITY (ABC 4 News) -- Former Utah Governor Jon Huntsman Junior is tired of politics as usual, all the mud-slinging, stalling and finger-pointing that goes on in Washington.

So he has kicked off a new campaign called "no labels", which is designed to ramp up pressure on politicians to do their jobs.

For example, Congress hasn't approved a federal budget in almost four years. that's something they're supposed to do every year.

?Number one, no budget, no pay. No bill, no spending bill, no pay,? says Huntsman.

If Huntsman's proposal was actually the law today, everyone in Congress wouldn't have seen a paycheck since they last approved a budget, over three years ago.

Huntsman believes we would see a lot more production from our elected leaders if this type of motivation was in place.

You can join the movement at nolabels.org.
